Getting the word out about your website and ultimately your products and services can be great with video. Ok yes, you need to have content, you need to be able to create something or get a friend to do it, but its surprising what impact this can have to your traffic.

On our site wingsurfer.co.uk, we regularly create videos of the events or meetings we have with kit flyers. These we post on the usual sites, and we make sure that every one includes our web address prominetly at the end (and the beginning sometimes) to get the message accross..

A great tool to make distribution easier is: http://www.tubemogul.com/  this allows you to upload to multiple sites simultaneously, and even creates stats. For video editing you can use windows movie maker (crude but works) or I prefer Sony Vegas, great piece of software.
