This has never been more true. Google and the others are trying very hard to give their users a better experience. It can’t be easy as everyone (me included) is trying very hard to get to the top of the rankings. It just shows you the power that Google has over all of us.
A few important pointers about website content.
- you need good relevant copy
- The more copy you have, the more important google thinks you are
- you dont have to be a copywriter
So try writing a series of articles, case studies, customer research studies, anything that makes you and your site look like an authority on the subject. Initially you should write these yourself, - if you have trouble with this, perhaps you have chosen the wrong career or website. Later on once your traffic starts to go up and you gain a following, you’ll be surprised how easy it is to get others to write copy for you.
